Teaching
methods can be vary depend on the teacher. Each teacher uses a method that is
considered as the most suitable method for their students. Most of the teacher
used Discovery Learning method for their students. This method is a method which
let the students use their own way to interpret the learning material that they
have got from the teacher. Of course the teacher provided them with materials
from PPT and slide show like many other teachers. In English program class the students
are directed to have the ability to discover the new way of learning the
material using English. Some of the methods also involve group discussion,
project and self-presentation.
1.2 Learning materials and
innovation
Most of
students have a handbook given by the school. Vru Demonstration School has
their own books that are written by the university’s professors. The books are
essential in every meeting because they followed the book. The books are compatible
with CDs which include audio and video. Some of the teacher also uses song as
the optional position to pull the students attention.

1.3 Sources of learning and technology
The learning
process are supported by an advance technology. The class is supported by a big
screen computer so the class does not need a projector. The class also equipped
with a big speaker to help the listening materials being provided.

1.4 Authentic assessment
The
students are graded on Written Work, Performance Tasks, and Written Work and Performance
Tasks every quarter are given specific percentage weights that vary
according to the nature of the learning area.
